Coburn Sales Inc. began in 1986 as a manufacturers rep company selling to dealers of masonry, drywall and roofing materials. CBIS/Korfil is a manufacturer and distributor of products for masonry and concrete.  

We are the largest producer of Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) insulation inserts for concrete masonry units operating three plants servicing the entire United States and Canada.  Inserts are sold under the trademark names of “Korfil,” “Korfil Hi-R,” “Icon,” and “Uni-Therm.”  These systems have been structurally tested and code approved, and can be used in grouted reinforced construction without insert removal. 

CBIS/Korfil has expanded our facility and grown the business into a variety of non-construction-related products as well.  In addition to our insulation insert product line, we currently do specialty molded products for other industries.

D & M Welding Company was established in 1973. We fabricate block racks, steel pallets, and portable sand hoppers for the concrete block industry. We can grease your racks to extend the life of your investment. Our pallets are computer numeric controlled plasma cut from plate mill product with radius corners and checked for rough edges. The International Masonry Institute is a labor/management trust fund of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers and contractors who employ their members. The IMI has a vast library of technical and building code publications. The Northeast Cement Shippers Association (NECSA) is a not-for-profit cement industry promotion/market development organization. It is one of ten regional promotion groups (RPG’s) in the United States. It is the regional affiliate of the Portland Cement Association. Wilfred's grandsons James & John Fletcher took over control of the operation in 1982. The company employs over 30 employees. We sell material to general contractors, redi-mix concrete producers, masonry suppliers, roofing contractors, landscapers and the general public in all of Massachusetts, but mainly in Central and Eastern sections of the state. Graves opened a retail yard in Littleton, MA in 1990. In 1999, Graves purchased Dow Concrete, Inc., a redi-mix concrete producer, and operates it separately under the name of Graves Concrete.
